I just installed and created a backup. I went through all of the steps correctly. When I attempt to restore I get the following message:
"Could not continue, unable to read the clone backup file! Please make sure you copied the backup in the same directory as XCloner.php"
TAR.php and xcloner.php are both in /public_html as I told it.
What's the deal here?
Thanks,
Charley
Hi there! Is the backup archive you are trying to restore in the same directory as the XCloner.php restore script? If so, make sure that directory you are in is readable by all users, otherwise XCloner will not be able to restore it, in which case you would need to extract it manually and restart the restore process with "Skip files restore" option checked.

As I said, TAR.php and xcloner.php are both in /public_html.
