Hi

Recently on a specific site the back up file is half the expected size 49mb not 101 mb.

When attempting to open the tar I get the message "Unexpected end of archive" and half the files are missing.

The Backup screen reports the Scanning files system… done! (Estimated size:100.55MB) in 8700 files.

But the progress stops at Backup Size: 45.55MB – althought he blue Bar keeps running to the end.

Also it reports

Processing Files: 100% (8700 files)

I'm mystified – what can be causing this?

Hi

Mystery over. I had allocated insufficient space on the server and it was cutting off when full.
