Hello, first to say great component!!
My question is:
The cloned site keeps the 'old' directory structure.
I'll explain.
I write the backup to a folder outside the public_html, so backups cannot be seen from the web. I had to make an extra folder (administrator/backup) for the temp files but that is no problem, maybe next version??
But when i restore a backup now, it als copies the complete dir structure from the point mt backup is.
so my restore looks like:
root/public_html/public_html/joomla site
It is not a big problem to manualy move al files 1 folder up but why does it also keep the folder structure above the joomla dir?
kind regards
Roy
Hi there! In order to store backups outside the public folder, you simply need to adjust the Backup Store Path config option, and not the Backup Start Path as you did in your case! The Backup Start path XCloner option you modified is only used to backup files from directories outside the Joomla root directory, so the functionality in your case is correct, it's just a misunderstanding(if I got right from your post) of what that option does.
Hope it helps! Ovidiu
