Firstly, thanks for this tool; it looks like it will be very useful!

I've made a backup of my live site and cloned it to a dev subdirectory.  Now I've made some changes and would like to move it back.  When I create a clone from my dev site, the backup size is very small.  The tar file only has the administrator/backups/index.html file in it.

Any idea what I've done wrong?

You should check for these things:

1. is the Backup Start Path XCloner configi option pointing to the correct directory to backup?

2. is there enough disk space available?

3. did you make any config chages to XCloner? if so, try and revert them or reinstall xcloner and see if it helps
