Hi

I have created a clone onto a new server.

Everything works, but if i try and upload a new template to use in the cloned site, Joomla says :

There was an error uploading this file to the server.

Try and recheck your tmp/ folder path from your Joomla Global Config, and also make sure all the Joomla install related folders are writeable.

Since it's probably another server, that might not be correct, make sure that path is valid on your new location and that is writeable also!

Both my sites are hosted by Godaddy. So the tmp/ path will be the same. I have checked the permisions for all the main folder for joomla and they match the original sites.
Canyou please help as this is driving me mad.

Looks good there, try and check also the maximum allowed file size upload in your php.ini config, make sure it's enough to fit the extension you are uploading. Also, make sure safe_mode is Off.

I am afraid i am out of ideas if it still does not work, you might want to check on the main joomla forums also, you might have better luck there as it's a Joomla related issue.
