Xcloner seems to be a great application. I tried to use it for joomla backups at dropbox. But it does not works for me. I always get the following error after the backup is created and the transfer starts.
Warning: file_get_contents(http://api-content.d.....;locale=en) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden in /www/htdocs/w00b4f9b/kirche-im-gaeu/dev/joomla/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/classes/DropboxClient.php on line 257
So there is an authentification error. I know that every app must be authentificate at dropbox during the first usage. But I do not know I can do this. 🙁
Have anybody a hint for me?
Can anybody help me?

allow_url_fopen to be set to On or 1 in your site php.ini config.

I checked this parameter of the server with phpinfo() and the setting is active and allowed.

allow_url_fopen on

So this is not the problem.

You might want to check with your hosting support to see if it's not a firewall issue, also check that the api-content.dropbox.com hostname resolves to a valid ip from their server...
