OfflineThanks, it woked when I excluded it.
However, now I am getting these messages:
Files succesfully copied
Configuration updated!
Database import skipped!
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access
/administrator/ on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error
was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Why was the database import skipped, and what should I do to import it? I made sure to enter the correct db login, but it still didnt' get imported.
I so much appreciate your help with this.

OfflineIt looks like I'm having major issues; after having uploaded all the extracted files, when I run:
http://www.mydomain......Cloner.php
I get:
http://www.mydomain.com/".$rurl." and a 404 error, even though I have uploded both the XCloner.php and TAR.php file.
I'm totally lost:(
The last message error indicated php scripts are not being parsed by your server, could be a miss-configuration so check with your hosting supprt.
Regarding the previous error, it might help to extract the backupa archive manually, then restart the restore process with "Skip files restore" option checked.

OfflineThat worked!
I had this in my .htaccess file (which I got from godaaddy):
addhandler x-httpd-php5-cgi .php
addhandler x-httpd-php5-cgi .php5
addhandler x-httpd-php-cgi .php4
Adding this:
AddTyPe x-mapp-php5 .php
...didn't help, but disabling the .htaccess file (by renamign it) took care of the parsing error and let me run the xclone.php database install.
I then uploaded the original htaccess that comes with the joomla 2.5.2 install package, and activated the url rewriting. For it to work I though had to remove the comment from the line # RewriteBase /
When line with comment removed looks like RewriteBase /
...it all workes wonders.
Thank you so much for the great product and support! 🙂
A question not related to to XCloner; why did I have to remove the comment from the line # RewriteBase / for the url rewriting to work?
Thanks again!
