When attempting to restore my xcloner backup i received the following error:

Image Enlarger

I have seen this error once before and so have some sort of half-backed guess as to what's going on.  There are two sites... a production site and a development site.  The development site is a subdomain of the production site... and it's also a subdirectory of the parent site on the server, eg:

/username/public_html

/username/public_html/dev

Previously, when I was copying over the files to create the dev environment, I had forgotten to tell it to exclue the dev directory so I assume it went into some sort of weird recursion on restore.  I fixed the problem simply by running my prod backup with "dev" excluded.

Now, I am trying to reverse the process.  This time I'm copying from dev to prod.  But now I'm seeing this error again and I have no idea how to diagnose it.  It cannot be the same thing as before since this time the backup was of the child directory.  I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to restore /username/public_html/dev -> /username/public_html

Does anyone have any suggestions concerning how to proceed here?  It would help if I had some clue as to the likely nature of the underlying problem.  Then perhaps I'd have some way to fix it.

The issue as that message shows is from the enabled security apache module, you can disable that by putting a .htaccess file inside the xcloner folder with the indicated code from the error message.
