You will need to upgrade your server PHP version to at least 5.2.3 to support the mysql_set_charset function, or simply set the "Backup Mode" to Normal in your XCloner Config->System tab.

Now, I have another question.  How do I set up a cron job for this via SSH?

The cron setup details are here /wiki/index.php/Appendix#Execute_a_cron_job_from_within_XCloner , and since you are using ssh, you can simply use

 

crontab -e

 

ssh command to edit and setup the cron backup command.
