Hello,
I am using the clone and restore to move an almost complete site to a server. They have a 20mb size limit for uploads in linux and my tar file is 620 mb. how do I get around this?

You could use the spli backup feature in XCloner Config to create backups under 20MB, otherwise, it would be best to manuallu extract the backup archive on your computer, uploading the files to your new host through a ftp client, and starting the XCloner.php restore script with the "Skip files restore" option checked.

Thank you for the help. I did report this file size incorrectly, it is approx. 6omb, still too big, but manageable. When I clicked "split backups larger than 20mb, it seemed to go into a heavy compression mode. The program is taking a long time, but it seems to be trying to fit it all into 20mb. This is not a bad thing, just interesting...
