Getting a Blank screen | Joomla Support | Forum Archive

Hi there,

As you can see I've just signedup. I've hit a brickwall. I can create Backups, but then when I try and clone or Move it, I get a Blank Page. I tried Google Chrome, IE, FF. Nothing happens for example : I have the below backup created :

1:backup_2012-03-04_12-28_www.my_website.com-sql-nodrop.tar   

2: then I select it and click on "CLONE" (I wanna clone this backup, meaning I want this backup inplace of the one that's up)

3: I fill out all the details like Website URL, FTP Hostname ..etc etc etc (I'm not sure of the FTP directory) Maybe I'm doing something wrong there, in the FTP Directory part.

4: The Path to the site is for example   http://www.my_site.com/home    so I wanna get the clone back to the same path ....

So when I fill out all the fields and hit continue, it pulls up a blank page, Nothing Happens (I use Joomla 2.5) I just get shown a Blank Page in the backend of Joomla. Same scenario while moving it toanother site ...nothing happens.

My Website URL, FTP Hostname and Password are all correct, ( I can connect to my sites with Filezilla, no problems, transfer files back and forth using the filezilla thingy no problem)

 I've kinda given up trying after a day, so I'm asking for advice / Help ...What Am I doing wrong ?
