Hi,
I just cloned site. After I restored the clone, the homepage is just blank.
When I go to the administrator backend I actually get a correct login screen, but after I login I just get a text version of the admin control panel. Funny enough, when I click on an article, I do get the normal Joomla interface. When I fet out of the article, I get the normal Joomla control panel (so not just text), but after saving the global setting: pang! Back to a text version.
In the meantime the actual site does not show up.....
I already changed the log and tmp directories in the configuration file, but that didn't help.
I promised my customer this would be up and running now, so I need some help...!!!

Hi Rob! A blank page usually means either a php or a system error, so to debug this you need to:
1. enable php errors display on your account
2. check with your hosting support to see if it's a server limitation, you might need to have to increase the site memory_limit to a larger value

it turns out that it is indeed a memory_limit issue. Thanks for the hints.
Now I need to figure out how to increase.... (configuration.php, .htaccess, index.php files, php config....)
