OfflineI saw in another post that you said xcloner has the ability to backup multiple databases. I've been unable to find this option in the config of xcloner. I currently have a joomla site with phpbb3 forum in 2 separate databases bridged with rokbridge. I'd like to backup all contents and both db's to restore to my new host. How can i accomplish this?
Hi there! In order to backup multiple databases at once, you need to create a mysql user and assign it to the databases you want to backup, so it has at least reading permissions.
Once that is done, go in your XCloner Configuration area -> Mysql details tab and setup there the new mysql user and pass, and a primary database to backup. The others will appear in a drop list on the Generate backup ->Database tab, and you will be able to select them from there.

OfflineWhen trying to restore I don't see where to specify the second DB in the XCloner.php file. Maybe you misunderstood my issue, I need to backup a joomla and phpbb3 forum both are in their own databases and restore them on a new host. Because of rokbridge I need to restore joomla into it's own db and the phpbb3 forum into it's own db. I don't see how to acomplish this.

I'm sorry, I can't catch it. How do I have to "assign it (mysql user, I suppose) to the databases you want to backup"? If it does mean create one mysql user and assign him 3 databases - in my scenario it's impossible. I haven't access to error-logs, access-logs, cron, actually I haven't access to anything except created databases (they always are manged by new one mysql user) and FTP accounts;/ In my case granted permissions are low as much as it's possible...
In index2.php?option=com_cloner&task=config I didn't found anything special except option "MySQL" > "Create multiple db backups at once", but there wasn't anything to setup in terms of multiple db's. Is possible manual setup of cloner.config.php file? Of course I mean multiple, different mysql users and db's.
The cron option allows you to save and use a custom config, so you could create a custom config for each of your databases and use that when launching the backup system, in browser mode you can only backup multiple databases if the same mysql user has reading permissions to all of them, otherwise it won't work.
