Joomla Cloner issue after restoring

I'm trying to clone my site so I can test migrating from joomla 1.0 to 1.5.

When I clone my 1.0 site the restore appears to be fine until I'm told it's completed and when I click to access the site it attempts to go to the installation directory.  Since I removed my installation directory on my original site I'm at a loss of what to attempt next.   Is there a config file I need to update or something?

The error I'm getting includes: Warning: require(../globals.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/coreyallen/(mysite).com/joomla3/installation/index.php on line 21

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../globals.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/php5/lib/pear') in /home/coreyallen/(mysite).com/joomla3/installation/index.php on line 21

Thanks so much for your help.

I would suggest to use an empty directory to make the restore to, it appears you already had a Joomla install there which was not completed?

It is an empty directory.   When I begin the only files in the directory are the backup and the joomla cloner files.

Is there something I'm missing?

What is the php version on your new server? if it's 4.x, i would advise upgrading it to 5.x, it should help.

Other than that, i am not sure what might be wrong with your Joomla install, seems to be related to how the software runs on your server, try and upgrade it to the latest version and see if it helps.
