Hi Guys,

I've backed up a joomla livesite and want to restore it onto xampp on my mac.

The installation process seems to go smoothly but when I try and access the frontend at /localhost/mysite/ it says it cannot be found.

It's strange because I am able to get to the backend if I go to /localhost/mysite/administrator.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Try and disable the SEF urls and check if the original template files have been copied.

 

Check also the menu structure, to what exactly are you pointing your Home page?
