Hi All
This might sound like a stupid question but if I clone and move a joomla website to another URL from within the admin panel of xCloner will the original website still be in tact at the original web address?
Also, how would i go about upgrading a joomla 1.5.22 site to a newer version of joomla? Would you advise just moving to v1.5.26 or should I go the whole hog to V1.7?? and can I do this at the same time as the restore process?

Original website will remain intact, as for the Joomla upgrade, it would be best to ask that question directly on the main Joomla forums, personally i think it depends on the future of the site, if you plan to develop it further, then go with the 2.5 version.

Thanks for the reply.
In that case I can clone the website and upgrade to J2.5 (on a temporary web address)and if it breaks in the process nothing is lost - but if it works then I can just map the domain to the new site. Excellent! Best first option I think as this website will be around for a long time so needs to be updated.
