Hello! When I restored a backup in my joomla 2.5 Website (using the Clone-Function) I realized that some files are missing. I understood, that a clone is exactly the same as the original. But it isnĀ“t. Is there a limitation of size? My joomla-installation is about 2 GB. Or did I miss some config-things?

Thank you

XCloner has a split function that will create a new backup archive when the limit size is reached, that is by default set at 2GB. please check your View Backup section, did you move all the backup archives? Are the missing files inside the backup archive or are they missing only when restoring?

Hi, thanks for your answer. Maybe that was the reason. But I tried again and changed the value in "Split Backup Archive if size larger than:" to about 3GB. Now the backup-file is 2.08GB. I copied it (in a shell, because the in-programm-copy broke down near 20%...) and: exact the same folders are missing like in the try before... (there were folders missing, not only files, like the topic is named). Do you have an explanation?

Greetings

Is the backup breaking at around the same step? did you click the retry button to see if it helps? Also, try and set the Split option to a lower value like 1GB and see how it goes...

Ok, now everything went fine. Only the part, when XCloner tries to copy the backup-files in the restore-folder seems not to work. It always breaks. But I use to copy the files via shell, that works faster. Thank you for your help! And for this great programm.
