Hi there - I developed a joomla site in a sub directory named cms and I now want to move it up a level to the root so i can use the search friendly urls.

I made a back up of the site and placed the backup and TAR.php and XCloner.php into the root and have configured as per instructions. However I keep on getting a message cannot connect via ftp. I have double checked all the user names and passwords and they are correct. I was wondering if I have over looked any thing?

Regards,

 Gareth

Hi there! Try using your ftp server ip address and see if it helps, it might be a domain name resolving issue!

If you still have issues however, you can always use the "Install files directly" option instead of ftp!

Regards, Ovidiu
