Hi there,

I´m meeting this extension now, I always have used akeeba as backup solution.

On the download page you suggest to use PHP VERSION 5.2.3

But my server has installed the 5.2.13 version.

Is it OK?

Should I install Xcloner or wait for server upgrade?

Thanks and best regards

You can still use XCloner with that lower php version and it will still work, however you won't be able to use some nicer features it has...

Hi Ovidiu!

Thanks for your feedback.

Would this nice features compromise the backup itself?

Can you cite me some of them? So I know what I can´t access (or the system will give me some warning??)

Cheers

Lucas

The most important one would be the json interface support, if you get that up, the backup generate process will work much faster and be more reliable.

OK Ovidiu,

As I´m developing in a test site, I´ll install the extension and ask for the provider to use a newer version for the definitive host.

Thanks for your support.

Regards
