I have to use a remote mysql database. That remote hosting uses cpanel 11. I added the IP to be allowed to remotely connect but no matter what I use as the host name I get the following error during XCloner: The database details provided are incorrect and/or empty. Unable to connect to mysql server
I don't understand.. I've tried the dedicated server IP, I've tried localhost, I've tried doing a query on an existing database on that server to get the hostname and used that.. nothing is working! Anyone have any ideas?
Is port 3306 open on your remote server? Please check this tutorial http://kb.liquidweb......panel/ to make sure you've got it right...
