Okay, so I have a backup from Jan 17, 2011 and none newer.  My site has been stable from day one but now the front end and back end are blown away.  The front end looks like it was designed in the days of Internet 1.0.  In the back end I have no access to the Joomla Adminsitrator's menu nor the icons.  The database is intact.  I want to restore everything from my backup except for the database.  Why?  Because there are newer articles since Jan. 17 that I do not want to lose.

Any suggestions?  Thank you for taking the time to view this topic.  Is the Unlimited Premium Support a lifetime subscription or recurring?  Would this apply to the three or four small sites I maintain?

Hi Wayne, i would suggest to upload the backup archive files you have there on your site, this won't affect the database, if you like, also upgrade Joomla to the latest version.

Our unlimited support option is non-recurring, and it covers supports for all your sites, so if you need help with the site restore, I would be happy to help you!

Regards, Ovidiu

Ovidiu,

My apologies for not replying sooner.  My computer went on a trip over two weeks ago and I am just now getting it running.

Thanks for the response and I was able to make my repair.  Somehow my configuration.php file became corrupted and I was able to restore it from a local copy.

Respectively,

Wayne Webb
