I'm in the process of moving our Joomla site, which is a large one 5GB). We're moving a live site from Hostgator to Inmotion hosting, and have confirmed server and Apache settings meet Xcloner requirements. The automatic "clone" process does not seem to be working, so I've tried the manual, following your instructions. I've placed all the necessary files (including backup .tar files and Xcloner.php) in a folder in the root of the new site on Inmotion hosting. Per your instructions, the next step is to "Launch xcloner.php in a browser window" however, the file will not launch and I receive a 404 error message. I've set all the permissions to give full access to the file and folder. Inmotion tech support says they cannot identify the problem except for the fact that their servers are not restricting access. I've searched your forums and the internet and have not found an answer. Need your help to get this site moved!
The only possible cause I can see is that I am currently still working in the temporary site, as the permanent url (www.vhiconnect.org) is still being used with our former host, Hostgator. The site is live and I don't want to disturb it, we'll simply redirect the domain when we have the new site running and tested. Could the temporary site URL (http://biz136.inmoti.....m/~vhicon5) be the problem? If not, why am I not able to launch Xcloner.php? I've tried IE and Chrome, on 2 different PC's.
