I have made a backup file then copied the backup package, TAR.PHP and XCloner.php intot the new hosting .

After running the Xcloner.php and fill in up the information of the new SQL database to the system , it imports the data but at the end show me this error.

TAR error: Extracted file /var/chroot/home/content/16/7728416/html/html_public/images/stories/videos/2 - Matrix-QT-320x240.flv does not have the correct file size '3572762' (12514278 expected). Archive may be corrupted.

And after that when I click on
Then I see so many errors for importing the SQL file. many of them are about the dublicated file in the SQL although I have deleted all tables form the new SQL database.
Could you please advice me on that and tell me what should I do, and what I am doing wrong?
cheers,
Farzan

Hi Farzan! The error you got there usually indicates either the backup archive is incomplete, does it have the same size as on the original site? or it might be corrupt, in this case re-check the available disk space on both locations.

Regarding the mysl duplicate errors, I would advise re-checking the restore database is empty before attempting a new restore, you can't get those errors is there are no previous tables.

Exelect it is fixed.

The problem was with the downloaded .tar file.

For some reason I couldn't download it from the hosting . to solve the problem I used Folx Download Manager for Mac (http://mac.eltima.co.....nager.html)  to download the Tar files.

My recomendation to whoever is experiencing the similar problem is to download the zipped (.Tar) files by using a download manager such as Folx Download Manager and then upload the file by using the FTP uploader such as FileZilla 🙂

Thanks for your help

Best regards,

Farzan
