I have been using xcloner now for months without issue. All logs have reported succesful backups without any issues. I now have a requirement to use one of the backups so imagine my horror when I discover that the TAR files do not seem to be complete. I tried to recover a backup locally and it failed - So I though I'd check the archive TAR file was good so I opened it up with winrar only to be told "unexpected end of archive". This would appear to be the case for all 88 backup copies I have - every one of the archives is no good and I cannot restore any of them locally using xcloner (it manifests itself as "forbidden you don't have permission to access..." the error log also shows a 404 because iles are missing from the archive).
1. Are my archives really broken - or have I done something wrong?
2. Is there anyway I can use these archives to do a restore?
