Hiya

I have a backup ive made from another site and am trying to put it on a new server .

Now the problem im having is that the new domain is in an addon domain part of the site , ie in public_html/site.com

Now is there something different i have to do in the settings where it asks for link etc as it wont seem to install with that link and just sits there with the bottom of the IE saying done

Cheers for your help

Could you post a screenshot to see exactly the issue? If you check our Restore backup wiki , to do a restore all you need to do is copy the restore script and backup archive inside the new directory, usually all paths and main url are identified by default, so you only need to enter your new mysql details.
