Just upgraded to version 3.0 and got the following message while restoring the database.

XCloner Automatic Restore!

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried
to allocate 484168193 bytes) in/home/mnrsc53/public_html/dev/XCloner.php on
line 1872

Is there an option I missed to handle this?

Jeff

P.S. I used Character set to the files option = UTF8 this time.  I'm hoping it does the job.  As soon as I get past this memory issue.

Hi Jeff! Can you tell us if, when restoring, you unchecked the incremental restore option for database?

Hi, I used incremental restore for both the files and the database.

XCloner Automatic Restore! - http://www.naminnesota.net

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 184927500 bytes) in/home/mnrsc53/public_html/dev/XCloner.php on line 1091

Could you attach here a screenshot of your restore screen, except of course, the sensitive details. Usually that error line indicates the inremental sql import option is not Active or not working for some reason even if checked, anyway, please post your restore screen screenshots to doublecheck.

I attempted a new backup and clone function just today. I got a new error on the file transfer that worked yesterday.

Warning: ftp_nb_put() [function.ftp-nb-put]: Could not open data connection to port 37408: Cannot assign requested address in/home/mnrsc53/public_html/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/cloner.functions.php on line 747

[Image Can Not Be Found] clone process failed

I don't know why the images won't display, but the links are intact.

Seems to be a firewall issue from your original server, try again or if not, you can always move the backup manually to the new server!

As for the images, try a free image hosting service, it should work nicely! Ovidiu

Ovidiu,

Thank you so much for all your help.  I got it working.  You have an excellent product.

I changed an option in the Remository module to stop storing my files as blobs in the database and that cut its size down from 176MB to 7MB.  That helped a great deal.  The option shouldn't default to the database, duh.

That's all.  I have to run out to the Joomla Extensions page and write a review about how absolutely fabulous you and Xcloner are.

Kudos!

Glad to hear you got it working, blob flelds unfortunatelly are a pain to restore when having memory limits as on most systems, usually for this you would need either access to the mysql server utility, or a quick hosting support request.

Cheers! Ovidiu
