Hi

I get the "error retrieving the json data from the server"

Its the clasic error.

I have tried looking in to the perm.txt file, and there is no reason to bring the app to a hold just there. BUT it seems like the app stops at exactly 2048mb every time. I have set the app to 10gb size limit. And my host says that there should be no limit to how large file i can make on the server (he might be wrong. wouldnt be the first time). There is plenty of space for the backup (25gb) on the server.

Do you have any surgestions?

Best regards

Neil

Hi Neil, well that's exactly the issue, your system does not allow php to write files over 2GB in size, and so you get that error. You will need to decrease the split backup option from 10GB to under 2GB in order to get a full backup. If you still want to generate the 10GB one file backup, you will need to contact your hosting support and ask them to recompile php to support files over the 2GB limit size.

Regards, Ovidiu

My host who uses several difrent supporters rotating all the time tells me first that its posible then that it is not and on and on. Talked back and forth with there mail support for several days now whitout any real answer. I got more trust in you tbh. Can it in to your noledge be done on a server running on a 32 bit?

Best regards

Neil

On a 32bit system unfortunatelly, php can't go over the 2GB, it's explained here also http://www.phpfreaks.....234003.0 , so my suggestion is to use the backup split option from the XCloner Config System tab, so you get a full backup of the site splited in files of maximum 2GB in size.
