Hi there, At the moment, my site is an english joomla site with specific components and data setup.
I am trying to replace my english joomla with the chinese/english version but to retain all my current component/module and data/table setup.
How do i clone all my components/modules and data/tables setup without backing up my joomla setup?
how do you generally replace/upgrade joomla kernal without affecting other setup?
hope you understand what i mean.

Hi there! This process is fairly simple, first you make a full copy of the site you want to apply the upgrades to, or move a copy of it to a test location so you can play there before doing any major changes!
Second, you could copy all the Joomla chinese files over the existing site, that will make the desired language changes and also keep the rest of the modules/component intact!
