Hello!
When cloning my joomla-site to a new server, i have problems with inserting images. the JCE image-manager says "retrieving data" and NOTHING happens. the problem is well known on the JCE-site but MY PROBLEM is that the editor is quite well working on my source-installation. after deinstalling the complete JCE-components and mambots and reinstallation everything works fine again. this is A saolution but not my preffered one. anybody outthere with a CLEAN solution?

As far as i know this error is caused by a javascript permissions denied issue, also related to how JCE works! Usually if you restore the site on a http://www.domain.com(check the mosConfig_live_site variable from configuration.php file to get the current value) then you need to access your website backend from that address(meaning http://www.domain.co.....inistrator) and not just domain.com/administrator
Anyway, if you still have problems, please open a support ticket, and send your ftp+Joomla admin details to the restore site so we can check the issue!
