Hi,
Just purchased this component - and maybe I'm missing something obvious - but this is what has happened.
I have a development site in a subfolder on one domain - I installed cloner - and backed up.
I copied administrator/backup/restore files across - ran Joomla.Cloner.php - filled everything in.
Got loads of errors about missing files etc - it appears that the zip file did not unzip - so I unzipped locally - and uploaded all files. - then tried again.
Then I tried to just import database -
and get (domain removed)
Stat failed for /home/httpd/vhosts/XXXXXXXX.co.uk/httpdocs/./administrator/components/com_menus/content_archive_category/content_archive_category.menu.html.ph (errno=2 - No such file or directory) in /home/httpd/vhosts/xxxxxxxxx.co.uk/httpdocs/pcltar.lib.php on line 2608
and enough errors to fill a book !
I have tried with drop database ticked and unticked -
Am I missing something obvious ? - at this rate it would be quicker to do it all manually !

OK - getting better.
Created a new empty database and used the new details - this time it uploaded the database
BUT...
Have a lot of missing tags
_WRITTEN_BY Administrator
_DATE_FORMAT_LC
comes up on news items - not text in place.
Any ideas ?

and also in global config -
Allow User Registration: _CMN_NO _CMN_YES
Use New Account Activation: _CMN_NO _CMN_YES
Require Unique E-mail: _CMN_NO _CMN_YES
Front-end Login: _CMN_NO _CMN_YES
Front-end User Params: _CMN_NO _CMN_YES
Debug Site: _CMN_NO _CMN_YES
Have I messed up a language file ? - I can;t find these in the English.php
