Hi,
Recently I've bought joomlacloner. Until now I managed to backup (local-joomla-install) and restore it on the server. WOW!!! what a timesaver. But I've walked the path of unchecking the tar/zip checkbox.
I don't understand how to get this working with (the faster) zip option. following message is displayed when backing up (on local xampp joomla install):
Backup failed! Please check that you have support for the tar utility(/usr/bin/tar or /usr/local/bin/tar) on your server and the path you set it's corect in Configuration, or choose the Zip archive type!
I've installed 7-zip. but this allso doesn't work.
Maybe its just a path-setting or so. I'm not a php-hacker. Does somebody know a sollution any help is welcome.

Thanks
Mark

Hi there! You need to go in JoomlaCloner Configuration area and uncheck both 'Active' checkboxes you see there, then try again! Also i would advise to use the TAR backup type!

Let me know if you have anymore problems! Ovidiu
