I have transferred the .tar, but when tryig to run XCloner.php i am getting the following error...

A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again.

I hvae the host fiolder set to 777 and have tried all the files in the public_html/ set at 777, 644, 755 and still no joy.

Any ideas??

Did you apply 755 permissions on both the restore directory and the restore script at the same time?
