I've successfully performed a full backup (db included) of my live site. I've setup a new development site with a new mySQL database. I've successfully cloned a backup to the new development site.
The clone launches as expected, but in the Global Configuration Database tab, the cloned site points to the original database and the new database I created for the development site has no tables.
It wasn't until I had made some changes on the dev site that appeared on my live site that I noticed this behavior.
Is anyone else experiencing this or did I do something wrong?
Thanks!

Hey there! Did you get any errors during the restore process? cause it seems that the dabatase importing wasn't succesfull, reason why the process was stopped and configuration never updated!
Try to get our latest version of the JoomlaCloner, get the file Joomla.Cloner.php and upload it on the restore site(overwritting the old one) and try to restore again!
Let me know on the messages you get from the restore process!
Regards,Ovidiu
I just ran the clone process again and I've attached a screen shot of the final process messages. As you can see, there are no errors. The entire process takes less than a minute to complete, but the new database is not being populated and the Global Config still points to the original (live) database.
