Xcloner restore problem

I get a very basic error message which should not be difficult to correct but I must be misunderstanding something here. I have moved a backup to a different server and have kicked off the XCloner.php file. When I put all the info in the page and click on the Start Install button, I immediately get the message that the Install directory is not writable or does not exist. I am using ixwebhosting as my server and am trying to restore the backup to a subdomain. I put in the install directory as my ftp server accesses it /ownerdir/urldir but this is not working. I also know that I have full permissions set on the directory (777) so that should not be the problem. What am I missing here? Is the install directory supposed to be something other than the directory that the url accesses?

Thanks for your help.

Bill

Hi there! You should recheck the restore ftp path with the provided ftp details, make sure that path points correctly to that subdomain location

Open a support ticket if you still have issues, and send us your restore location ftp details to check the issue
