To install files outside your default Joomla root directory you will first need to change the "Backup start path" variable from the XCloner Config area so it points to a directory that includes the ones you want to backup!
As for database, you simply need to alter the mysql details from the XCloner Config->Mysql tab, or additionally assign the Joomla mysql user to the other databases so you can backup them as "Extra databases"
Hope it helps! Ovidiu

Hi Ovidiu,
I am in the process of testing Xcloner, so to see if it does what I need.
I have a few miner problems left. But will start with the most important one.
I also want to include 2 (perhaps later even 3 db) in my backup of my Joomla site.
You say in the post above:
As for database, you simply need to alter the mysql details from the XCloner Config->Mysql tab, or additionally assign the Joomla mysql user to the other databases so you can backup them as "Extra databases"
But in this tab I can only fill in the details of one msql db? can you steer me in the wright direction?
TIA
Appie
