Cloning to another server: no IP-change

Hello,

Making a backup and restoring it on another server works fine, except one thing:
On the original server my menuitems link to http://..ipaddress../com_option=......

Now when restoring the backup on another server (which has another IPaddress) and checking the menuitems on the front end they still link to http://..ipaddress of original server../com_option=......

So my problem is that the items still link to the original server's IP.

Any ideas how this may be solved?

Thanks in advance,
Jelmer

Hi there! When restoring the backup did you get a confirmation message saying that the configuration was updated?

You can also fix this problem by editing file configuration.php and finding this variable $mosConfig_live_site and replace it's value with your new ip address!
