Hello,
I am migrating from joomla 1.0.15 to joomla 1.5.15. What I did is that I created a subdomain, and installed joomla 1.5.15 into it. First, I am testing the subdomain properly to make sure joomla 1.5.15 is installed properly and without any bugs.

Once everything is working fine, then I will have to clone this subdomain data into main domain using Joomlacloner. The main domain has the joomla version 1.0.x though. Is it ok to clone like this from subdomain to main domain, where the main domain has a different version of joomla from subdomain?

Please let me know.

Hi there! Yes, it is ok to do this, however it would be better to have a clean location on restore with an empty database to avoid any rewrite issues
