Hi there,

I have my dev site at public_html/dev and want to clone this site up to public_html.

1. Are there any issues I should worry about in terms of dev directory sitting below public_html? Will the clone leave the dev directory untouched?

2. I assume I need to remove all of joomla currently installed in public_html?

I would appreciate any advice before i start this.

Hi there!

1. There shouldn't be any issues as long as you use a different database on restore compared to the original one
2. You don't need to remove any Joomla files from your root directory
