Dear Sir and Madam,

I have backup the server from the website at http://www.ufun.com.hk/cm and all the thing is run smoothly. However, when I want to clone it to the a new website. It doesn't worked. I only want to have a mirror backup website. When I enter all the information at the backup menu page, and the process is running. The display told me the database has an error. I can't connect to the database. I know that I'm using https://www.freshmp.com to login the database. Is it this problem? If I don't import the database, I can restore the site. But it is only the template, for the component, I can't restore it to the original website.

You can login my website, I have purchased your software half month ago. The website is http://www.ufun.com.hk/, and I have send the email to you about my website information and the login. Please help me and teach me about the restore. Thx.

The original site is: http://www.ufun.com.hk/cm
Want to restore site is: http://www.ufun.com.hk/rest/

Is it necessary to backup the mysql first? Or only backup your backup.zip to the site finally?

Best Regards,
Mike

Hi there! The mysql error message usually means that the mysql details provided are incorrect, so you need to recheck them, and also check the mysql server name you are using!

However please open a ticket here http://www.joomlaplu.....Itemid,43/ and send me your restore location ftp and mysql manager access details!

Second, the backup contains both files and database backup, so the separate mysql backup is not necessary!

Regards, Ovidiu
