my site used godaddy's sharing host.
now, I want to changed it to dedicated servers.
and I don't want to change anything else.

Now, the situation is:
The dedicated servers is up.
The backup by Joomla Cloner is up.

and then, what should I do?

I think:
1.Shut down sharing host.
2.Use the dedicated servers to host my site.
3.Upload mysite's backup, and Joomla cloner.php
4.Open the browser and launch http://your_site_nam.....Cloner.php

It's Ok?

Hi there! I think it would be saffer if you go like this:

- upload the backup on the dedicated server
- access a temporary web address of that server or ip and try to restore the backup there
- see if all is OK, after verifying, move the domain from the shared to the dedicated server(change nameservers)
- if you have used the temporary url when restoring, you will need to edit your configuration.php file and replace that with your correct url(look for mosConfig_live_site variable)

If you need help, just open a ticket with us!

Regards, Ovidiu
