Ignoring files...

Hello,

Under cron settings, I can ignore specific folders from being included in a backup. Is there a way to exclude files? i.e.

- Ignore specific files by naming them directly (file.flv); or ignore group of files (*.pdf).

Most of my backups are between 5MB-11MB. However, I have a site where it has a lot of big pdf files making the backup huge (approx 80MB-105MB).

I guess I can move all of them to a folder and then ignore them but doing that will require major work (changing links to them).

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Dennis

You could add this to your exclude file fist

.pdf

however that will exclude all pdf files from all the site directories

Additionally, to exclude a simple file simple add the path and name to it like

/administrator/index.php
