I just picked up the cloner and I am trying to clone a site to a domain.

I am at the stage where it connects and then you click the link to go to the site to restore it.

When I click the link I get a 404 error.

What am I doing wrong?

Ok, I figured out that one.

I had the paths wrong, it was writing to the wrong dir.

I have it to the point where I am trying to restore it, but for some strange reason It cant connect to the mysql database.

Im positive I have the correct info in there but its not working for some reason.

I found thru trial and error that if i go into my db and create another user for the database ie

In database named test_joom1

I just created another user ie peter_joom1
and then just used the New User and NEW USER password.

Just seemed to take out the confusion for myself in assigning database info in cloning process.

Very simplistic, but it worked for me.

Good Luck
Peter
