Hi there,
I've cloned the existing site, but when I try to run the Joomla.Cloner php script, I get the following error:
Connected to 76.12.103.197, for user myrovacom, starting transfer...
Error : PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature.
Can you help me? I don't exactly what this means or how to correct.
Thanks, Kelli Reinhardt

Hi there! This error usually means that the backup archive is either corrupt or incomplete, try downloading it through a ftp client and upload it in the same way to the new site!
I also suggest if you still have problems, to recreate the backup using "Manual backup" option set to Yes in your JoomlaCloner Configuration area!
Let me know if you have further problems! Regards, Ovidiu

Hi Ovidiu,
I downloaded the zip file to my computer and tried to unzip. And, as you said it was corrupt.
I checked to see about a manual backup, but I don't see that option in the JoomlaCloner Configuration area. Perhaps that option is on a newer version of JoomlaCloner? If so, am I able to upgrade, or will need to purchase new version of jcloner.
Thanks for your help,
Kelli

Hi Ovidui,
Ok, I changed to tar rather than zip for the backup and ran the script. It appeared to work as I had this message:
JoomlaCloner Automatic Restore!
Connected to 76.12.103.197, for user myrovacom, starting transfer...
I've been waiting about 10 minutes now and while it has transferred some of the files, it did not transfer all files nor any of the tables in the database. The script page says Done, so it only did a partial clone. Now I don't know what to do - delete what it did clone? and start again?
Thanks for your help.
Kelli
