Hi all,
Quick question. I want to know if it is possible to restore the backed up site to its origial location, say the site blows up for some reason. Will it overwrite previous files and database? If so could someone please point me to where I can find some info on how to get this done. Thanks for your time and help.

Hi there! Please check our restore FAQ here
http://www.joomlaplu...../catid,26/

The script will overwrite all the files you have there on restore, however the database needs to be cleaned up manually or use another empty database(this way you preserve the old database, and use a second one for restore)!

However, if you would like to replace the existing database tables, you need to generate the backup by using this option checked "Add DROP syntax" in the JoomlaCloner generator screen->Database options tab!

Let me know if you have more questions! Ovidiu
