Ovidiu,
While you excel at writing code my friend, your abilities at documenting that code --- well let me be nice and just say that it is lacking. 😉
I believe I got XCloner to write a cron script:
cloner.cron.php?config=truthtribune_cron.php
1.)In the GoDaddy admin panel all I have to do is to
browse to the cron script but I have no idea where it is.
All the docs say is that it is in "/configs" I have yet to find it and do not know how to search for it with the limited tools that I have available. So what is the path to the script?
2.)I don't understand what the above syntax is for or what it means. But what do I put in the GoDaddy path:
truthtribune_cron.php
or
cloner.cron.php?config=truthtribune_cron.php
Thanks again.

Unfortunately we cannot provide documentation on how to setup a cron job for each hosting control panel, that is the job of your hosting provider, we only provide the cron script and it's clarification on usage
Anyway, what you need to provide is a server path to that script, so the cron command looks like this
"php /path_to_mysite/administrator/components/com_xcloner/cloner.cron.php myconfig.php"
where you need to replace "path_to_mysite" with a full server path to your Joomla root directory, and "myconfig.php" with the custom cron config you setup, or leave it empty for default values

Hello,
I'm having the exact same issue with GoDaddy, however, I'm unable to resolve it. If I use the path to the generic xcloner configuration, my cron runs fine, but once I tried to target a custom configuration file, I get the same error message as tittiger was getting in the beginning.
Here's the generic path that works:
/web/cgi-bin/php5 "$HOME/html/administrator/components/com_xcloner/cloner.cron.php"
And here's the custom configuration path that does NOT work:
/web/cgi-bin/php5 "$HOME/html/administrator/components/com_xcloner/cloner.cron.php?config=CBCDecatur_config2.php"
I checked my configs folder and i have a config file in there named "CBCDecatur_config2.php" so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
Thanks,
Torry

Hi Ovidiu,
I use the $HOME with the default cloner path and it works. Example below. It just does not work when I try to point to my custom configuration.
/web/cgi-bin/php5 "$HOME/html/administrator/components/com_xcloner/cloner.cron.php"
Do you think I need to try the full path instead for my custom config?
Thanks,
Torry
