Hi There,
any idea how I can use clone a site to JSAS? I have the extracted zip from a live site that has been cloned and have created a database in phpmyadmin for the new clone and edited the config file to reflect these values. When I try to access the site I get the error 2 message which I think means that the database is inaccessible or can not be found.
The other way I thought it could be achieved is just by cloning the site to the JSAS local server but am unsure how to configure the ftp details in the joomcloner backend.
Any ideas on how to do this?
Cheers

Hi there! We have some info here on how to restore manually a site on a host http://www.joomlaplu.....Itemid,56/
Also some tutorials on how a restore is made using the Joomla.Cloner.php file here http://www.joomlaplu.....rials.html !
Basically to restore the clone manually you need to do this:
- extract the archive where you want to move it
- import the database from administration/backups/database-sql.sql
- edit configuration.php file to reflect the changes:
-mysql user, pass, host, database, and new site path and url
Let me know if you need further help! Ovidiu
