Hi!
After installing xCloner on a J 1.5.3 site I just get a blank screen.
Permissions are set to 755 in folders and files.
System info (in Norwegian, but you get it):
Linux bellagio 2.6.18-6-686-bigmem #1 SMP
Databaseversjon: 5.1.22-rc-log
Databasekollasjon: utf8_general_ci
PHP-versjon: 5.2.6
Nettstedstjener: Apache/2.0.63

Could you check the administrator/components/com_xcloner directory, do you see files listed there and if their size if bigger than 0 ?
I would advise to try and install XCloner through the manual option by extracting the files on the server and see if you have anymore issues
