xcloner - standalone mode in Joomla site

Hi

-- I posted too soon, seems like it is running separately, please ignore/delete this post --

I want to run xcloner in standalone mode (not using the settings from Joomla). The reason is that I want to backup and clone a file system and db that is in a subfolder of my Joomla site, and I don't want xcloner to have access to the Joomla site (so I can't simply exclude all the Joomla folders).

I tried putting xcloner in a separate folder under public_html, and it still found my joomla installation!

Any ideas on what to hack?

Thanks
Brendon
