I have a development box running windows XP. I have cygwin installed and have pathed the bin directory. This allows me to have *.nix commands on my windows box. 2 commands that I have are zip and tar. I use the tar command all the time in my work and I have it in the windows path. In the cloner component I have inserted the path to the zip and tar utility to c:\cygwin\bin\tar c:\cygwin\bin\tar.ece c:\cygwin\bin\zip c:\cygwin\bin\zip.exe. The configuration does not work. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Timgerr

Hi there! I would suggest you uncheck the 'Active' checkboxes(the ones near mysqldump and zip/tar lines) in JoomlaCloner configuration and the try again!

We haven't tested the cygwin utility on an XP machine, however by unchecking the 'Active' checkboxes will get your backup created by using the internal php functions!

Let me know if you have anymore problems! Ovidiu
