500 Internal Server Error - on localhost | Old Forum | Forum Archive

Hi everyone,

I have a joomla site on localhost that i am trying to clone to a live host. I did a backup and then clicked 'clone'. It connected to the ftp server, did all the moving, and then said click to continue starting the clone process.

When I clicked continue, I got the following error:

[b]500 Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, .......... and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can anyone give me an idea about what to look for that could have caused this problem? I did upgrade to joomla 1.5.10 (from 1.5.5) yesterday and everything else seems to be working fine.
